An interview sign-up form will be made available at least one week before the event. An announcement is made on our Discord server and Twitter timeline. Interview sign-ups close when there are no more slots available or several days before the event.

I signed up for an interview and received a confirmation from a SOBA team member. What can I do to prepare?

You should receive an interview start time in your confirmation. Please check in with a production team member at the live-stream table when you arrive at the meetup. You will be check-in and receive confirmation of your scheduled interview time.

Please familiarize yourself with the Twitch Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. No mature language or imagery is allowed. If the event is broadcast on the Twitch Front Page, the Front Page Do’s and Don’ts also apply.

Please be sure to check back in at the desk at least five minutes before your scheduled interview time! If you are late, you risk losing your interview slot. Interview slots are at least ten minutes.

For convenience, we’ve provided some talking points.

  • Talk about your channel and what you do! (play games, cook, sing)

  • Describe your community, what makes them unique and worth checking out!

  • How you contribute to the larger broadcasting community and what content creation means to you.
